In 1999 HIPP + BEST Architects PC, then named J. Clark Hipp Architect, PC, completed a new 10,000 sf structure for the Jordan Funeral Home on Dawson Drive. This structure included one large chapel, two visitation areas, embalming facilities and business offices. Completed under a Design/Build contract, the firm worked closely with the builder to assure efficient structural systems and economic utilization of materials and finishes.

As noted the square footage of the new structure was 10,000 sf. Design services included mechanical, electrical and site design services provided under a Design/Build contract. Construction Observation services were limited to submittal review and occasional site visits to address builder and owner concerns. Interior finish selection was also part of the scope of design services.
