In 1996 HIPP + BEST Architects PC, then named J. CLARK
HIPP Architect PC, designed a two story office structure
on Park Avenue for a local engineering company. This
5,400 sf structure was designed on a small lot and took
advantage of existing trees in an attempt to integrate
with the surrounding area. The exterior design attempted
to blend with adjacent brick structures but utilized
unique textures and window configurations to provide
a unique presence. The parking lot was used to provide
a softened foreground to the structure and separate
the building from the noise and distraction of the street
front.
